User Responsibility Agreement

1. Purpose

This User Responsibility Agreement sets out the specific responsibilities that every User accepts when using the FireVault Platform. By using the Platform, you agree to these responsibilities.

2. Information Accuracy

You are responsible for:

• Ensuring the accuracy of all information you enter into the Platform
• Verifying that data entered is correct before saving
• Correcting errors as soon as they are identified

3. Record Maintenance

You are responsible for:

• Keeping records up to date
• Updating records when circumstances change
• Ensuring records are complete and not misleading
• Reviewing records periodically for accuracy

4. Action Completion

You are responsible for:

• Completing actions and tasks assigned to you
• Updating the status of actions as they progress
• Closing actions when they are complete
• Escalating actions that cannot be completed

5. Premises Safety

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining premises safety independently of the Platform
• Not relying solely on the Platform for fire safety management
• Ensuring that fire safety arrangements are physically implemented, not just recorded digitally

6. Competent Persons

You are responsible for:

• Ensuring competent persons are engaged for fire safety activities
• Verifying the qualifications and competence of assessors
• Not relying on the Platform as a substitute for professional expertise

7. Reviewing Circumstances

You are responsible for:

• Reviewing changing circumstances that may affect fire safety
• Updating assessments and records when circumstances change
• Notifying relevant persons of changes that may affect safety

8. No Reliance on Platform Alone

The Platform is a management tool. It does not replace:

• Physical fire safety measures
• Professional fire safety advice
• Compliance with legal duties
• The judgement of competent persons

9. Acknowledgement

By using the Platform, you acknowledge that you understand and accept these responsibilities. Failure to meet these responsibilities may affect the effectiveness of the Platform and the safety of your premises.
