These Terms of Service govern your use of the FireVault fire safety compliance platform (the "Service"), operated by FireVault Ltd ("FireVault", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms.
FireVault provides a cloud-based fire safety compliance management platform that enables Customers to schedule inspections, record evidence, manage actions, store compliance documents, track training, and demonstrate due diligence. The platform supports multiple UK jurisdictions — England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Ireland — with jurisdiction-specific legislation, terminology and guidance applied automatically based on the premises location.
In addition to subscription plans, FireVault offers one-time purchases of compliance documents including fire safety policies, emergency plans and compliance document packs. These are purchased individually and are not part of a recurring subscription. One-time purchases are billed immediately via Stripe and are non-refundable once the document has been generated and downloaded.
FireVault Connect is a marketplace connecting businesses with verified fire safety professionals. Marketplace payments are processed through Stripe Connect. FireVault charges a commission on marketplace transactions, displayed to professionals before they accept a job. FireVault verifies professional identity, company details, qualifications and insurance but does not guarantee the competence or quality of any professional. The full marketplace terms are set out in the Terms & Conditions (Section 7).
Customers agree not to:
FireVault processes personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and GDPR Policy. Customers retain ownership of all Compliance Data entered into the platform. FireVault acts as a Data Processor on behalf of the Customer (Data Controller).
The FireVault platform, including its design, software, branding, and documentation, is the intellectual property of FireVault Ltd. Customers retain ownership of all Compliance Data they upload to the platform.
FireVault provides the Service on a "best efforts" basis. While our platform supports fire safety compliance management, Customers remain responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable fire safety legislation. FireVault is not a substitute for professional fire safety advice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, FireVault's liability is limited to the subscription fees paid in the preceding three months.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
